Shanghai DEUTA Electronic and Electrical Equipment Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "SD") is a joint venture established in 1994 by DEUTA-WERKE GmbH and Shanghai Railway Communication Factory, (a subsidiary of China Railway Signal and Communication Co., Ltd.) in 1994. Since 2020, CRSC (Xi'an) Railway Industry Group Co., Ltd is the majority shareholder of Shanghai DEUTA.
SD is a professional company of railway signal control equipment and rail transit signal control equipment, integrating scientific research and development, production and manufacturing, product sales and technical services. This is an advanced technology enterprise with foreign investment in Shanghai, a new and high technology enterprise with foreign investment in Shanghai and a double excellent enterprise with foreign investment in Shanghai. The company covers an area of nearly 3000 square meters and is located in Shanghai pilot free trade zone.
Over the years, SD strives to achieve the goal of making the public enjoy the safety, comfort and convenience brought by rail transit with internationally leading technologies and services. We have passed the environmental management, occupational health management, intellectual property management system certification. In 2009, we were the first domestic company to pass the IRIS International railway Industry Standard System Certification granted by German TüV CERT Company. Since the establishment, we have provided China railway and urban rail transit with more than 30 thousands speed sensors, indicators and a large number of other on-board electronic products, as well as equipped with a large number of locomotive operation recorders and other products for China's export locomotive.
SD has inherited the excellent culture and accumulation of both Chinese and German shareholders, and formed the enterprise culture with "people-oriented, virtue first, innovation and progress" as the core values. Facing the future, under the leadership of the board of directors, SD will strive to build our company into a high-end equipment system solution provider with rail transit business as the core, leading technological innovation and core competitiveness.
